Welcome.

Hey. Hi. Hello.

A New Frontier Of Sorts…

Hello there.

My name is Brandon Wright, and I am 34 years old.

I hate this.

(Preface – First and foremost, I must let you know that I am super terrible at talking about myself, so as you can imagine, when the notion of an introduction came up, I was not very excited. As I sit here at my computer, getting ready to dive into it…yep, still not excited. )

So I’ll start here.

The basis for this blog has been in my mind for quite some time, but I have no more than dabbled with it in the past.

I figured it was high time to put the proverbial pen to paper and truly put some of my thoughts out there, and see if I could others along the way. The blog will be primarily focused on sharing my business insights and experiences, with a whole lot of other miscellaneous thoughts, and opinions peppered in from time to time.

Another thing that I want to make abundantly clear, and within a short time, should be painfully obvious. I am not much of a writer. Beyond a couple of high school journalism classes, and a whole lot of shit talking on the internet, I do not have any professional writing chops. Be prepared for the occasional cringey grammatical error, or bizarre formatting. I’ll be presenting things in a way that make sense to me, and hopefully it is digestable (and at the very least readable) for you.

This will truly be a learning process, whereby my audience will help me find my voice in the written format. So your feedback along the way will be well received, and highly encouraged.

While I am not naturally much of a writer, I am most certainly a talker, and NEVER short on thoughts and opinions. I am hopeful that I can convert these thoughts into the written word in a way that you enjoy, and find helpful.

“Yeah, but who the hell are you?

-You (probably)

Who the hell am I?

Well for starters, I am a life long resident of the Ozarks. I currently reside in the “queen city of the Ozarks”, Springfield, Missouri, USA and have lived here for the majority of my 30 some odd years of life. So think mid-westerner, with a flair for the southern.

I am a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs football fan. (Or a glutton for pain, as you might say) I wouldn’t have it any other way. But hey, just this week, we are playing in our first Super Bowl in 50 years (EDIT: “WE WON!!!). So I can’t complain.

I am a college dropout. Unlike most of my millenial counterparts, I did not see the need to mark that accomplishment off of my life checklist. From an early age, I knew that wasn’t a part of my path. While I absolutely love learning, I do it in my own way. I am more of a trial by fire, jump in the trenches, and figure it out type of person. I see the value in higher formal education for most people, but again, it just isn’t my cup of tea.

I cut my teeth on the internet in the mid-90’s, and was hooked from day one. The soundtrack of my youth is punk rock music in the background, and the nearly melodic whirring of 33k and 56k modems dialing-up (interspersed with the occasional friendly “You’ve got mail. from my AOL inbox). From creating some of my first web pages on website builders like Angelfire, to chatting with my friends on AIM after school, while downloading music on Napster, the internet has always been my playground.

I’ve been here ever since.

Fast forward to my adult years, in lieu of a formal college education., my professional chops were hard earned over a decade and a half in the industries of real estate, hospitality, insurance, business finance and retail sales, management. I learned sales, client services and marketing, from the trenches… front-to-back, and inside out.

The unique advantage I obtained during my decade plus career in primarily forward facing B2C and B2B sales roles was that I garnered a deep understanding of how customers and clients, and consumers in general, think and act.

It’s allowed me to develop a masterful and persuasive communication style, leadership, and a hyper functional/practical direct marketing approach.

During my lifetime, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, from trading and selling sports cards in elementary and middle school (what’s up Gary Vee?), to flipping stuff, e-commerce, and countless other endeavors over the years.

This aided me immensely during my professional career.

I credit my entrepreneurial spirit for a lot of my professional successes over the years. In my opinion it is an obscenely valuable and underrated trait, to be able to first think through the lens of sales, ownership, and operations, regardless of your position/role within an organization.

I’ve had countless personal ventures, and side hustles throughout my lifetime (some successful, some not; some epic failures), and I believe that this is actually where I’ve learned the most about myself, about business, and about my purpose.

I personally believe that my skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities have been sharpened into their best form over the last few years, as I’ve transitioned to a business owner, a digital first marketer and salesperson.

This is the me, that I am bringing to you.

The sole purpose of “Right Brand NOW”, this blog, and everything I do online is to bring my professional experience/knowledge to the table, to go to work for you in a practical and transparent way, and bring you the most value!

Speaking of value, if you would like to bring me value during my journey, I would immensely appreciate your input! If you have any thoughts, questions, or suggestions, drop them here on the blog, or shoot them to me via email: HERE .

Follow along as I post here and there, be on the lookout for more to come on my social media pages, and please share my content to hopefully also help those close to you.

It would truly mean the world to me, to have you come on this journey alongside me!

As always, thanks for reading!
